Golden Rhodie

Original watercolor on 140# cold pressed paper.

The real rhodie blossom in the photo I took was actually purple.  I printed the photo out in black and white and changed the color of the blossoms.   I wanted to try and paint this using only the black and white photo to guide me in values and I changed the purple to yellow.
