Artichoke

I got the idea into my head to paint an artichoke, but I wanted one of the global shaped ones that is flatter on the top rather than pointed. I had to go to four markets to find the right one and you can see all the colors I put in the painting. The original was bought as a present to hang in a friend’s kitchen. This makes a nice house warming present.
