I invite you to share some of my watercolor paintings that I’ve set up on the mjcwatercolor.com website. I’ve been painting for 26 years in Sonoma County surrounded by vineyards, redwood, oak and fir forests, and Northern California coast. Many of these landscapes have inspired me over the years. I love playing with the texture and color blends I can get from watercolors. From soft to bright, the variety of color combinations is endless. It’s very enjoyable to turn an image, whether imagined or real, into a work of art.
You’ll see that I love to paint flowers but other subjects also bring me joy and made it into the portfolio. Edibles, Animals, Women’s Hats, and a miscellaneous collection of other subjects that have caught my eye and asked to be painted.
